Ripon is a rich tourist destination, not only for the Cathedral or the racecourse but there are three museums in Ripon collectively known as the Yorkshire Law and Order Museums; it includes the Courthouse, the Prison and Police and the Workhouse Museums and Ripon’s proximity to the UNESCO World Heritage Site which consists of the Studley Royal Park and Fountains Abbey.

Ripon is location of 11 miles south west of Thirsk, 16 miles south of Northallerton and 12 miles north of Harrogate make it a place popular with families and couple alike, there is a mix of grand town housing and terraced, with redevelopments seeing an increase in the offering of apartments.
